Vijay Top Trek is an underrated trek, located in the remote place of Garhwal Himalayas. The trekkers will find one fascinating fact about Vijay Top is that resembles the Kedarkantha trek and has all the qualities. The trek is situated at an elevation of 3878 meters and lies in the famous Govind Wildlife Sanctuary of Uttarkashi. What makes this trail so unique? During winters it is covered with a white sheet of snowmaking it pristine and during summers the sceneries are like the perfect postcard which resembles the wonderland that is not traversed by may adventurers. The real beauty of the magnificent mountains is revealed here, it remains engulfed by the snowfall in winters. A thick snow sheet covers this mighty peak making it pristine and in summers the scenery changes from white to all green which resembles the wonderland not traversed by many. This trek is hidden beauty among the Himalayan Mountains not known by the trekkers and can be called a true gem.

Kedarkantha (3800 m) and Vijay Top (3,878 m) are almost at the same height. Get awe struck by the cosmic views of Kedarkantha and other soaring peaks like Bandarpunch, Black Peak and Swargarohini (I) (II) (III). In addition get jaw dropping sight of Phulara Ridge, Baraadsar Range, Rupin and Supin valley, Kanasar Lake and Sarutal from the top.

  • Day 1 : Dehradun to Khanyasni camp (235 km-1878 m)
  • Day 2 : Trek from Khanyasni camp to Sarutal camp (05 km-2000 m)
  • Day 3 : Trek from Sarutal camp to Badang camp (08 km-2600m)
  • Day 4 : Badang camp to via Vijay Top (3800m) back to camp(10km)
  • Day 5 : Badang camp to Bhitri village same day drive to Sankri over night stay hotel
  • Day 6 : Sankri to Dehradun
